4th of July Recipes

Get out your slow cookers people! The 4th of July is the perfect time to celebrate with the ones we love while eating lots of delicious slow cooked food. I love being able to make multiple dishes in my slow cookers and not have a hot house. Its hot enough outside, I certainly don’t need my oven making it any hotter. I picked some wonderful options that would be great for the 4th of July or any other party. Happy Cooking!!!

Appetizers Cream Cheese, Sausage, and Rotel Dip , Brie-Apricot Dip

Entrees- Hawaiian Ribs, Apple, Cheddar and Turkey Meatballs, Thai Peanut Butter Chicken

Sides- Cauliflower Mashed Potatoes, Corn on the Cob, Best Spinach Casserole Ever

Dessert- Delicious Cheesecake, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chips Cookies

Little Debbie’s Tip: When cooking multiple things in the slow cooker, you must really take the time to plan it out. The cauliflower mashed potatoes do not require a slow cooker or even an oven so that is great to make the night before. The dips are really the only dishes that I would recommend not making ahead of time. The dips are much better hot and should be eaten right out of the slow cooker!
