Hawaiian Ribs

The last time I ate ribs before tonight was over 10 years ago. I am so happy that I ventured out of my comfort zone because these ribs are absolutely fantastic. The meat was so tender and fell right off the bone. Jim said that the ribs made him feel like he was back in Hawaii and that they were by far the best ribs he has ever had in his life. I will be making these again very soon! Don’t miss out on this amazing recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 4 pounds baby back ribs
  • 1/3 cup gluten-free soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chinese 5-Spice powder
  • 6 cloves minced garlic

Directions: Using a 6-quart slow cooker, put the ribs into the bottom. I broke mine apart a little so they would fit in. In a small mixing bowl, combine all of the ingredients listed above. Paine the sauce onto the ribs. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Easy right?

Little Debbie’s Tip: When it comes to cooking meat in the slow cooker, the longer you cook it on low the more tender it will be.
